ABOUT US
Our vision is simple: to design a compelling, action-packed adventure that suit your interests, time and budget.
Our Commitment
We are committed working with you to providing a memorable travel experience, one that will allow you to feel the heart of this great continent. Each itinerary is built with you in mind. This includes but is not limited to small-group scheduled and tailor-made guided safaris. Bucket List Safaris can organize all aspects of your safari from arrival, including hotel reservations, transfers, flights and bookings at other camps and lodges. And as stated in our vision, your interests, time and budget are our highest priority.
How we do it
We source all of our operators with great care and are pleased to have developed relationships with some of the finest tour companies and guides in Africa. Our approach is performance based. In other words, we select hotels and camps, tour operators and guides based on previous experience. We collect and periodically update pertinent data on every tour operator and hotel that we use.
We also do not have contracts with Hotels, camps or Tour operators. Instead, we develop relationships based on the desire to develop trust with our vendors and repeat business from our clients. Having a freedom from contracts allows us to calibrate each adventure to your needs, delivering the best experience for your money.
We believe anyone can go on an African safari. We want very much to appeal to people who cannot spend a small fortune on safaris but want a great safari experience and real value for their safari dollar.
My story
As I've traveled to different places, I take photos that tell a story and captures the essence of a moment in time. Seeing other cultures has made me appreciate my own differently. My “right way” is simply my way–and perhaps that’s why I come away with the greatest and most rewarding forms of introspection. I love where I came from. I love the people of Kenya. They say that people go to Kenya for the wildlife, but they return because of the people.
Most people I talk to would love to go to Africa. But I know it’s not just that simple. The idea of leaving your hometown, state or country is just too foreign or intimidating to many people. In fact, the greatest barrier to African travel is fear- not lack of money, or time, or flexibility of work, or family, or life. But I always say the best way to tackle your fear of travel is to embrace it. Start talking about it already. Tell your friends you're going to Kenya......in August! Set an actual date. Give my team and I something to work with. It is our pleasure to help you cross off ‘African Safari’ on your bucket list.
